Timmons to Serve Constituents Tomorrow at Local Convenience Store

GREENVILLE, SOUTH CAROLINA, January 29, 2026

A unique national outreach program will be coming to Greenville. Rep. William Timmons (SC-04) today announced that he will visit a local Spinx Convenience store to have conversations with employees, learn about the dynamics of operating a convenience store, and serve and engage with constituents.

The visit is all part of a program called In Store, developed by the National Association of Convenience Stores (NACS).

It will take place on Friday, January 30, 2026, at the Spinx Market & Eatery located at 659 S Main Street, Greenville, SC 29601 at 2:00pm ET.

"Convenience stores are the anchor of communities across the country, and they are also where community conversations take place," said Hayley Thrift, Director of Public Relations at Spinx. "More than half of the country visits a convenience store daily, whether to buy fuel, use the ATM, wash their cars or quickly buy snacks, drinks or meals. We're excited to share with Rep. William Timmons how our stores serve the public in his home state."

"Convenience stores are where the community comes to fuel up, grab a quick drink or some food, and see a few familiar faces. When I took office, I committed to serving my constituents. I hope to serve them today - from behind the counter," said Rep. William Timmons.

"We believe our elected officials will emerge with an even more intimate understanding not only of convenience stores' challenges, but also of their many contributions across the economic, social and cultural spectrum," Thrift said. "And over time, convenience store owners and the customers and communities they serve should benefit from policies that spur further growth, prosperity and innovation in the sector."

The NACS In Store program brings convenience and fuel industry retailers, members of Congress, and communities together by offering U.S. legislators the opportunity to gain first-hand knowledge of our industry and local c-store operations. NACS has coordinated more than 100 similar unique local events in 35 states across the US over the past 10 years.
