Congressman Timmons opens his District Offices

Yesterday, Congressman William Timmons (SC-04) opened his district offices in Greenville and Spartanburg and announced his district staff.

GREENVILLE, SC – Yesterday, Congressman William Timmons (SC-04) opened his district offices in Greenville and Spartanburg and announced his district staff. Collectively, his staff has over 75 years of experience in public service.

“I am proud of an outstanding district team with a proven service record. Each member is from the 4th Congressional District and understands what matters to our constituents,” Timmons said. “Our district and Washington teams will work together to fiercely advocate for our citizens to give our constituents comprehensive service.”

“I am grateful for this opportunity to work with Congressman Timmons to serve our district,” said Hope Blackley, District Director. “The staff and I look forward to providing the best outreach and constituent services that can be offered. Each staff member has an exceptional background in serving the Upstate, which will enhance our ability to serve the needs of our constituents.”

Hope Blackley will serve as District Director. Blackley was born and raised in Spartanburg. She graduated from South Carolina State University and recently served as Spartanburg County Clerk of Court. Prior to her time as Clerk of Court, she worked for Governor Mark Sanford’s Crime Victims’ Ombudsman. Blackley has over twenty years of constituent experience.

Seth Blanton will serve as Constituent Services Director. Blanton has fifteen years of constituent experience and has worked for former Congressman Trey Gowdy (SC-04), Senator Tim Scott (R-SC), and former Senator Jim DeMint (R-SC). He is a graduate of the University of South Carolina.

Freddie Gault will serve as Outreach Director. Gault previously worked for Congressman Ralph Norman (SC-05) and former Congressman Mick Mulvaney (SC-05). Gault is a retired law enforcement officer and has served as Union County Clerk of Court. He brings more than nine years of constituent experience to the team.

Kam Turner will serve as Grants Coordinator and Constituent Services Representative. Turner worked as Grants and Projects Coordinator for former Congressmen Gresham Barrett (SC-03) and Trey Gowdy (SC-04). Kam completed her undergraduate degree at Clemson University and received her Master of Business Administration from Winthrop University.

Colonel Mike Stahl will serve as Senior Advisor. After retiring from the United States Marine Corps, Colonel Stahl worked for the Texas Veterans Commission. He is the recipient of the Navy Cross and six Purple Heart Medals. Colonel Stahl competes in defensive handgun competitions in the region, is active in helping Upstate veterans, and has over twenty years of constituent experience.

Representative Mike Burns will serve as Senior Advisor. Representative Burns represents District 17 in the South Carolina House of Representatives. He is a graduate of the University of South Carolina. Over the course of his career, he has owned five businesses in the Upstate. Representative Burns brings six years of constituent experience to the team. He and his wife, Anne, have four children and five grandchildren.
