I recently led the South Carolina Congressional Delegation in sending a letter to President Trump urging that his Administration approve the sale of F-16 fighter jets to Taiwan. It is imperative that we support our partner nation and provide it with the capabilities to defend itself. Additionally, the sale of these F-16V Block 70 fighter jets to Taiwan promotes jobs and production here in the Upstate. I am pleased the Administration took this important step to support Taiwan.
