Democrats in Washington spent $7 trillion we did not have, and as a result, your family pays the price in the rising costs of almost everything due to inflation. The failures of Bidenomics can be witnessed at all levels of our economy. The cost of everyday items like gas and groceries are up over 20% since Biden took office—leading to more families in South Carolina working paycheck to paycheck to afford basic expenses. Additionally, the highest interest rates in a generation have put the American dream of homeownership out of reach for millions of hardworking families. I will continue to reject policies that contribute to Washington’s out-of-control spending habit and support those that reduce spending, rein in the federal bureaucracy, and make South Carolina an even better place to live, work, and raise a family.

In Congress, I have consistently opposed wasteful government spending, and I am one of the loudest voices sounding the alarm on our growing national debt. I am fighting for an economy that is strong and to protect the American dream for our children and grandchildren.
