Congressman William Timmons (SC-04) released the following statement on H.R. 4350, the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) for Fiscal Year 2022 (FY22):
“I am a firm believer that the U.S. military is the greatest force for good in the world. However, I have real concerns about some of the provisions contained in this year’s package that are unneeded. We owe it to our men and women in uniform to pass an NDAA free from politicization. It is my hope that as this bill continues through the legislative process, House and Senate conferees can remove these unnecessary provisions and craft a final product we can pass with strong bipartisan support.” |
