Today, Congressman William Timmons (SC-04) announced Heather Smith will take over the role of Chief of Staff as Tim Cummings departs Capitol Hill for a new role in the Trump administration.
“Tim has been an invaluable leader and trusted advisor during his time here,” said Congressman Timmons. “His dedication and expertise have played a critical role in advancing our mission, and I am confident he will bring the same excellence to his new role in President Trump’s administration."
Stepping into the role of Chief of Staff is Heather Smith, who has served on Congressman Timmons’ staff since March 2020. Smith, currently serving as Deputy Chief of Staff, brings nearly a decade of experience and a deep understanding of South Carolina’s Fourth District to the position.
